Rescheduling
Reschedule at no charge with at least 4 hours' notice. Inside 4 hours, the trip fee below applies to the new appointment.
Cancellation
Cancel at no charge with at least 4 hours' notice. Cancellations inside 4 hours, or after the notary is en route, are billed the trip fee.
Trip fee
If we travel to the appointment and the signing cannot be completed — missing or expired ID, signer unavailable, document incomplete, or signer unwilling or unable to proceed — the base travel and time charge plus any mileage still applies. Notarial fees for documents that were not notarized are not charged.
No-show
If no signer is present after a 20-minute wait at the confirmed address, the appointment is treated as a no-show and the trip fee applies.
Wait time
The first 20 minutes of waiting are included. Additional waiting is billed in 15-minute increments at the published rate.
Identification
Every signer must present a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID with a signature, or arrange the credible-witness alternative permitted under Texas law, before the appointment can proceed.
Online (RON) sessions
Online sessions require a device with a working camera and microphone and a stable connection. If identity proofing fails, the session cannot proceed and a platform fee may still apply.
Travel and mileage
Travel is measured by driving distance from our Allen, TX service base. The first 25 miles are included; additional miles are billed at $0.75 per mile and shown before you pay.
Refunds
Prepaid services that we cannot perform, and that are not subject to the trip fee or no-show terms above, are refunded in full to the original payment method.
Weather and safety
We may reschedule at no charge when severe weather or an unsafe location makes travel unreasonable.
