Questions
Frequently asked questions
Travel fees, accepted identification, online notarization, loan signings, invoicing, and scheduling — answered.
Notary appointments
- Do you come to me?
- Yes. Mobile notary appointments are available across the Dallas / Fort Worth metroplex at homes, offices, hospitals, care facilities, jails when permitted, and coffee shops. Travel is included within the first 25 miles of our Allen, TX service base; beyond that, mileage is billed at $0.75 per mile.
- What ID do I need to bring?
- Every signer must present a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID with a signature. Accepted IDs include Texas or out-of-state driver's licenses and ID cards, U.S. passports and passport cards, military IDs, permanent resident (green) cards, and foreign passports with a valid U.S. visa or entry stamp. If no ID is available, Texas law allows a credible witness alternative.
- Can you notarize for me online?
- Yes. As a Texas-commissioned Remote Online Notary (RON), we can notarize by secure audio-video session with identity proofing and credential analysis. You can be anywhere; the notarization is performed under Texas law.
- How fast can you get to me?
- Same-day and rush appointments are often available, including evenings and weekends. Rush and after-hours surcharges apply; see the pricing page for exact amounts.
- Can you tell me which notarization I need or how to fill out my document?
- No. A Texas notary cannot give legal advice, choose the notarial act for you, draft documents, or explain what a document means. Ask the issuing agency, or consult a licensed attorney.
Loan signings & title work
- Are you a certified loan signing agent?
- Yes. We handle purchases, refinances, HELOCs, reverse mortgages, sellers' packages, and loan modifications, with printing, scan-backs, and shipping coordination available.
- Do you invoice title companies and lenders?
- Yes. Corporate, title, lender, and vendor clients can be invoiced on net-30 terms with payment by Zelle, ACH, or check. A completed IRS Form W-9 is available on request and IRS Form 1099-NEC reporting is accepted.
Real estate & BPO
- Do I pay you to help me buy a home?
- Buyer representation compensation is negotiable and is disclosed in writing before you sign any representation agreement. TREC does not set commissions or fees.
- What is a Broker Price Opinion (BPO)?
- A BPO is a professional estimate of a property's value prepared by a licensed Texas real estate agent. It is faster and lower-cost than a formal appraisal, but it is not an appraisal and should not be used in place of one.
- What is Open Door Property Access?
- If you are not working with a realtor but need lawful access to view a property, we can arrange and supervise the showing on a flat-fee basis without any representation agreement.
Payments & scheduling
- How do I pay?
- Card payments are processed securely online through Stripe on our Pay page. Business clients may request invoicing. Fees are for notarial, signing, courier, officiant, and real estate support services, and a receipt is issued for every transaction.
- Can I book my own appointment time?
- Yes. Use the online booking page to pick a 30-minute slot; the price shown updates automatically for early-morning, after-hours, weekend, and holiday surcharges plus travel mileage.
- What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
- Rescheduling is free with at least 4 hours' notice. See our appointment policy page for cancellation, no-show, and travel-fee details.
